I could never figure out why my parents go on cruises every year. I never realized how much is offered until I got to spend the day on the Carnival Cruise – Carnival Breeze. Never being on a cruise before the moment I stepped on this cruise I was in awe of the massiveness and at all the amazing accommodations to give you a wonderful experience.
When the day is done, once you’ve had your fill of fun, head back to your stateroom and settle in for the night. No matter which room you have – a simple interior, ocean view, or grand with a balcony or suite, they are the perfect way to wind down at the end of the day. I was amazed how much is in each room. From nice cozy beds, a sitting area with a couch to a luxurious bathroom. You definitely do not feel like you were on a ship!
So why all the fuss over cruises? There is SO many on board activities for kids and adults. For kids there is the Sports Square which consists of basketball and miniature golf. Kids can cool off in the pool and/or water slides at the Water Works area. Kids can also enjoy some time at Camp Ocean where kids ages 2 to 11 stay busy having fun as they enjoy all ocean-themed activities and entertainment made for kids. Older kids can hang out with other kids their age at O2 and watch movies, listen to music from this decade, play sports and video games and join karaoke jam sessions.
For adults there are tranquil areas all throughout the deck where you can lay in the sun and relax, maybe take a dip in one of the relaxation pools. Too much sun, head inside for a spa treatment. For more adult time head to one of the clubs for some karaoke, take in a show at the theater or explore the art collection.
The food choices are unbelievable on this ship. From creating your own pizza for kids, cooking demonstrations to delicious moist burgers at Guy’s Burger Joint Carnival Breeze has it all! We happened to eat at Blush. They had the best crab cakes I have ever had. Not only is the service and food impeccable but the waiters and waitresses out of nowhere put on a small show for us that was quite entertaining! They say that most people gain approximately 7 pounds on a cruise, I can see why!
The Carnival Breeze goes to the Caribbean or you can cruise to nowhere for duration’s of 2-5 days, 6-9 days or 10+ days. The departure ports are located in Galveston, TX. or Miami, FL. Have you ever been on the Carnival Breeze, if so what did you like best?
