You never know what you will find in your tree’s in your yard. My kids spotted this critter in our tree in our front yard. Thankfully we scared it away but every now and then he comes back and gets into our garbage can. So we have had to out smart him!

I hate it when our neighbors’ cat sneaks into and makes a mess of our garbage can!
We have to tie down our recycling bin with bungy cords to keep the raccoons away from it.
Lovely clear photo! He looks like he is spying =P
Cool photo and well captured! Too bad he’s a bit of a pest. In South Africa, raccoons aren’t the problem, but baboons are. At least I’ve never had to deal with any in or around my home, but I have encountered a few on my travels and they are aggressive.
No way! I’ve never seen a raccoon out in nature before.
Cute in the tree, not so much in my garage!
Great picture though!!
Now that’s a shot you don’t get everyday. What a great photo. We get those critters around Nebraska to.
Yikes I love your photo. Raccoons are adorable but dangerous. Keep safe.
At least he is a handsome visitor! π Happy Easter season!
Living in a country that doesn’t have racoons, I embarrassed to admit that I found your pest charming and adorable. I didn’t always feel that way, when I lived in California and one “met” one of our chickens I wasn’t amused.
Nicole, That is quite a cute capture and so close up!! Love it. Thanks for hosting the linky!
It is amazing that such cute creatures can create such a mess. Love this photo!
Great photo! Thanks for hosting & God bless!
GREAT pic!! I love raccoons…except when they’re tearing apart my garbage or trying to bust into our tent!!
Happy WW and thank you for hosting such a great link up! Have a wonderful week ahead! xx Ashleigh @SimplyWright
Wow, that is a really good photograph of that raccoon!
Cute! They are cute, but can be such pains in the patootie! We have one around here that looks like he’s never missed a garbage can!
I remember when I saw my first raccoon about 15 years ago. I was so surprised at their size.
That photo is awesome! What an amazing creature to find in your backyard:)
He is kind of cute. I know, cuter not in the garbage than in the garbage π
You have to admit, in the tree he is Cute.
Wow, that is a great photo of a raccoon. He looks like he has been enjoying some good meals lately.
Aw, what a cutie… Awesome capture! π
that racoon is sooo cute..although it can be messing around as well :)..
Ah, as cute as raccoons are, they can be quite the rascals.
Thanks for linking up at Life at Rossmont.
I’ve always loved raccoons, especially after watching the Little House on the Prairie episode with Jasper. Never seen one in person though. Well wait, yes I did, but we were in the car and we think it may have had rabies, but that was years ago. Love your picture, great shot. Thanks for stopping by Tots and Me last week.
