We are careful what our children watch in our home. We prefer that our children watch something with a Biblical message like VeggieTales. They are filled with humor, fun and have a moral compass. There are so many Christmas cartoons on at this time of the year but they are filled with empty messages. VeggieTales has just released a new movie called Beauty and the Beet.
In Beauty and the Beet, Mirabelle and her traveling family band, the Veggie Tones, are determined to make their next gig at Vegetable Square Garden. On their journey, a fierce winter snowstorm hits, and the family gets stuck at a run-down resort! Mr. Beet, the grumpy manager makes them sing – and clean – for their supper. Why is Mr Beet such a beast? And can Mirabelle’s kindness change him? This heartwarming movie enforces children to story of unconditional love.

Beauty and the Beet offers something that kids need to be reminded. With such a cruel world around us, the message this movie offers is that when someone is mean to just simply love on them. Even Mirabelle encouraged me as an adult because no matter how nasty Beet was she continued to be kind to him and eventually his heart was softened and become a changed Beet.
This sweet movie makes a perfect gift for children this season. Available at Family Christian for only $9.99!
