That is such a big milestone, we all remember the moment they start going up the stairs and at the same time this is so dangerous we really have to keep an eye on them…

Going up is Ok, the coming down………..not so much. We always taught them to slide down on their bellies. Gates are good.

They grow up so quickly. My first (now 16) was a climber and just when you thought you couldn’t make the house any safer, you would turn around to find her climbing the supposed safety gate.

That is gorgeous! My twins just started walking as well ! and was super nervous that they were not hitting their milestones, now i am just glad i had a few months of not having to baby proof EVERYTHING!
