I have turned into a headband junkie after cutting my hair short. I think my daughter is noticing all the headbands i have been wearing because she is starting to want to wear them too! So i decided to do a headband craft.
I purchased a 6 pack of headbands at the Dollar Tree and then pulled out the duct tape I already had and decided to give the headbands a whole new look! First I cut strips of duct tape about 5″ long and then I cut that strip in 1/2. I wrapped each headband with each strip. I did it in such a way that there were patterns. Since the strips were cut in half i would alternate the colors and patterns. I made sure when I started each headband that the duct tape was on the underside of the headband and then I wrapped over it so that it cannot peel up. Once I wrapped the whole headband I took a smaller sized piece of duct tape over the ending piece so that to cannot peel up.
My daughter wants me to make her more of these headbands. She is asking for pink so that is next on my list to make her!
