Our Bible study has a fellowship day frequently throughout the year and we are supposed bring a dish. Running out of ideas I decided to make my own version of sweet tasty angel food cake dessert. So easy and so yummy!
Ingredients:
Lite Cool Whip
1 already made angel food cake (or you can make your own)
1 quart of sliced strawberries
1 Glass bowl
1 Glass bowl
First take the angel food cake and tear it in pieces making your 1st layer. I originally started cutting it up with a knife but found that it took too long so I used my hands and tore up the pieces. Next layer your strawberries on top of the angel food cake then do a layer of Cool Whip. Repeat this again so that you will have 2 layers of each.
Then I added a flower design on the final top using the strawberries.
Putting this in a glass bowl isn’t necessary but it’s pretty served seeing the layers!
The ladies in my Bible study group enjoyed it, it’s a dessert that I will definitely make again. It’s light, affordable and super easy to make!
