Each year my family does a Easter Egg hunt and I never throw the plastic eggs away. I keep them in a BIG Rubbermaid container in our attic and then pull them down each year. Over the weekend it was time to pull them down.
Other than doing our Easter egg hunt I wondered what else I could do with them eggs.
I took two trays (1 of my 2 year old and 1 for my 4 year old) threw in some of the eggs in each of their trays but they weren’t put together. Their task was to match the other 1/2 of the egg and then put the completed egg in the basket.
Most of eggs are different shapes, colors and sizes. So it was fun watching them match them up, some took a bit longer to do. I think this activity is good for dexterity and fine motor skills.
Even the baby enjoyed the eggs, he liked to throw them!
What else do you use your plastic Easter eggs for?
