I typically do my grocery shopping at Publix every other week and bulk shopping for our big family in between. I needed to pick up a few things so my 2 older boys and I stopped in Publix on our way home from their Little Contenders of the Faith class.
It being Wednesday we had a busy rest of the week so I needed to pick up something quick for my kids and I for breakfast. Lately we have been eating English Muffins with scrambled eggs so we decided to try something different. With so many choices down the bread aisle at Publix I decided on Everything bagels and cream cheese. Normally I purchase generic or what’s on sale with the best prize. There are quite a few other brands but I picked Thomas’ brand because the bagels are a nice size and we enjoy the way they taste!
We enjoy eating our bagels with cream cheese, sometimes I even chop up fruit and put it on top like banana’s or strawberries. Keeping it simple this time with plain whipped cream cheese.
Off to purchase a few other grocery items: tomato, sandwich bread and ice cream but I couldn’t resist stopping at the clearance Valentine goodies!
I grabbed a few bags of conversation hearts and cinnamon candies!
After checking out it was time to go home and have our ice cream and then off to bed for our busy day to follow. We were meeting friends at the zoo early for a co-op. So I had to fix a fast breakfast – so I toasted our bagels and then smeared cream cheese on them.
One happy little girl – she loves bagels and cream cheese!
