SODA BOTTLE HANGING PLANTERS KIDS CRAFT

We have a small back yard & we just got some plants for our butterflies, so with the lack of room we made soda bottle hanging planters.

soda bottle planter 1

Supplies:
2 liter soda bottle
super sharp scissors
string
(items to decorate bottles)

I had my kids decorate the bottles with foam stickers (not sure how they will hold up outside)
My daughter did a Valentine one!

Then I cut the bottoms of the bottles off, poked holes in the cut portion and strung string through it for hanging.
Pour the potting soil & plant the plants

Then hang them up!

  10. Super cute idea! I think I’ll take a previous commenter’s idea and try some strawberries. We’ve always had problems with bugs getting tour before we can pick them. Maybe if they’re off the ground we can enjoy the berries before the bugs do 😉

  11. Fantastic for my little apartment balcony!! I’m on it!
