This week we didn’t do too much in the way of homeschooling, we went to Sea World with some friends & then did some 4th of July crafts & lots of summer play!

4th of July craft
Using red, white & blue string, JJ formed a star, the keep it together he painted w/ a paintbrush glue on the string (we used wax paper underneath). When the glue dried, we peeled it away from the wax paper. I hung them up in our glass sliding door.
Spelling with my homemade spelling cards

I poured these plastic play balls in a big Rubbermaid bin & the kids had a blast!

Oh! there used to be a Sea World in Cleveland, and when I lived in Ohio we’d go every summer. I miss it so much! I actually flew down to Florida JUST to go to Sea World about 4 years ago.

Hi,
I came over from NFF. I love the picture of the jelly fish. I always thought jelly fish looked a bid odd, but in your pictures they seem really pretty 😉
It looks like your kids really enjoyed sea world. I know I loved it when I was a child. It is so neat to be able to see all the small and big fish close up and be able to watch them interact. Thank you for sharing the pictures!
Have a wonderful day,
Kate
I like the painting-with-glue-over-string craft… and you could use it so many ways! Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂
I can’t wait to bring my kiddos to SeaWorld! They would love it. By the way, I love the last picture of the kids in the rubbermaid box…lol…too cute!
Looks like fun! That carousel is really cool!
