Muffin Tin Monday – Leftovers Rock!

Muffin Tin Monday – this week’s them — leftovers rock!

Saturday was my baby’s 1st birthday so we had a birthday party for her & for my oldest son who will be 5 next week. My husband BBQ’d hamburgers & hotdogs & we had friends & family join us of this special day at the park. Our muffin tray this week is leftovers from the party.

celery from our veggie platter, hamburger
peanut butter underneath the celery for dipping, Doritos & cantaloupe we already had cut up in the fridge.
I also used our baking tins over the weekend to make over 40 cupcakes! I made Spiderman cupcakes for my son & butterfly & flower cupcakes for the baby. Unfortunately I didn’t get pictures of the baby’s cupcakes but here is a picture of my sons.

  1. Your cupcakes are so cute! I had fun just pulling things from the fridge. It looks like your did too.

  2. Very cute cupcakes, my eldest boy is 5 next week too and I’m making cupcakes to take to pre-school. Hmmm, you’ve just inspired me…

  3. MMM, that’s a good looking burger! Cute cupcakes!

  4. Yummy cupcakes! Glad you guys had such great birthday party!

  5. WHAT?!?! No leftover cupcakes?!?! (I always make extra cake/cupcakes for birthdays, in hopes that there will be leftovers…which we often have for breakfast the next day…and lunch..and dinner…)

  6. Very nice. I wanted to do this for my 2 and 4 year old today and realized that I only have 12 hole muffin tins….sigh….adding it to my list though because I LOVE this idea. I think that they respond better to small portions of a variety of foods.

  7. Great MTM meal! Please send me a cupcake! 🙂 My daughter turns 5 in just 10 days and my son just turned 2 a few weeks ago, so a cupcake would be great for their birthdays (and one for mama too LOL).

  8. great MTM and Great cupcakes!
