My boys LOVE superhero’s. They get t honestly, my husband who has been collecting superhero memorabilia since he was a child. Anytime my kids can do any type of superhero craft they are in!
My son has been using a collapsible cloth Frisbee for his Captain America shield for a few months which he came up with all on his own. He has played with it so much that it ripped & is on it’s last limb. When my husband came home with thick durable foam we decided to make a new Captain American shield out of it. First we cut out a circle for each of our boys. Since it needed to be decorated, I taped off the spots for my son paint by himself. Once he was done painting the red and blue rings he painted a plastic toy star white and then pressed it in the center for the of the blue circle. Finally I encased it with clear packing tape so that the paint does not chip off.
Materials:
White Foam (about 1 inch thick)
Star Sticker or Stencil
