When Krysta from Tot Wraps had her 1st child back in 2000 (now a WAHM to 5 blessings!), she had a vision of her “dream diaper” in her head. She wanted an all-in-one style diaper that would fit all sizes, but what was available then—and even now—never fit my idea of the perfect diaper. Everything she saw had either complicated snap systems, bulky fold-overs, long drier times, were not all-in-ones, would really only fit an older medium-sized child, or had a pocket that always had to be stuffed. So, after a gentle prodding from at her local store, she decided she should design her own perfect diaper. After several months of pattern drafting and testing, the Dream Diaper™ was launched. Over the following year, the diaper went through several modifications based on customer feedback. It is now what she considers—and what she hopes you consider—the perfect Dream Diaper™!

I had the opportunity to review the Dream Trainer.

Features of the Dream Trainer™

•Available in a full range of sizes to fit 12 months and up.

•Solid or print waterproof polyester PUL outer that rolls in on the legs and completely edges the inner for a leak-proof, one-piece trainer.

•Two rows of closure snaps for optimum leg and waist adjustment. To obtain a perfect fit, simply snap the closure tab in the leg row (bottom row) of snaps where the leg fits comfortably. Then snap the tab into the waist row of snaps where the waist fits comfortably. It doesn’t matter if the same snap placement is used for both the leg and waist.

•Easy pull, stretch tabs have plenty of grabbing area and just enough stretch to allow your child to pull the trainer up and down.

•Very thin more absorbent than a wet disposable so it fits well under any clothing, even jeans and Onsies. Utilizing Zorb™ for maximum absorbency power, a size medium will absorb up to 10 ounces of liquid without adding any doublers or inserts.

•Pocket opening allows you to increase absorbency for naps, trips or night use. The large opening means easy stuffing and no un-stuffing before washing.

•Speedy to dry and cleans thoroughly thanks to the pocket opening. Drier time is about an hour.

•Hourglass shaped inserts are optional since you won’t need them for normal use.

•Leg openings are not top-stitched to comfortably and gently stretch to fit and reduce red marks.

•No complicated folding, snapping, flaps, or attaching parts. This trainer is easy enough for anyone to use.

•Soft and comfy cotton velour inner is drier to the touch than other absorbent fabrics, yet still wet enough to let children know they are wet to aid in potty learning. Some styles offer organic viscose of bamboo velour or stay-dray micro fleece inners as an option.

•Long lasting, easy to use snap closures mean no Velcro diaper chains and your closures will last the life of the rest of the diaper.

My Review:

We use our Dream Trainer on both of our youngest. Our 3 year old still wets the bed on occassions at night time so we cloth diaper him at night while cloth diapering our 17 month baby girl all the time. I have never seen a diaper like the Dream Trainer before. The sewing and the quality of this diaper is impeckable! The quality of the fabrics that are used are perfect, they are super absorbant! I have NEVER had any leaking or wicking issues what so ever! The inner velour material is nice and gentle against my babies sensitive skin. The stretch tabs are one of my absoulte favorite features of this diaper! This diaper is So user friendly to use!
