I have fussy eaters in my home plus with five kids we have a busy schedule. There are many nights when I make a meal and some of my children do not like what I made and ask for something else to eat but like I tell my kids I am not a short order cook and I cannot possible make different meals for some of my children. My criteria is to find well balanced meals that everyone likes that is easy to make. One of my favorite products are the Betty Crocker Casserole Potatoes.
Betty Crocker Casserole Potatoes are made with 100% real potatoes along with savory sauces. Plus it is so easy to make only adding milk and butter and bake for only a short time. This product is so versatile too because you can have it as a side or add it to other ingredients for a full meal! I recently used Betty Crocker Three Cheese Casserole Potatoes along with other ingredients and made a well balanced meal!
Betty Crocker Three Cheese Shepherds Pie Casserole
1 lb of Ground Turkey (or you could use ground beef)
1 box of Betty Crocker Three Cheese Casserole Potatoes
2 Large Diced Carrots
1 Small Diced Onion
1 Tsp Coconut Oil
1 Cup of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Cook the ground turkey while this is cooking dice up the carrots and onion then add them to the meat while cooking, add the coconut oil to the pan and give it a mix. Cook until the meat is brown and the vegetables are cooked. In a separate bowl put together the Betty Crocker Casserole Potatoes. There are so many great flavors (11 varieties ) if you did not want to use Three Cheese Casserole Potatoes. Next add place the meat mixture in a pie pan and then the shredded cheese over the meat mixture. Finally pour the Casserole Potatoes over the meat and bake at the box directions.
With all the hustle and bustle of this time of the year this is the perfect meal. Great for in between all the holiday shopping, putting up decorations, filling out Christmas cards and other holiday related activities. I will definitely be making this meal again and change it up different ways. I am glad my family enjoyed it. I remember my mom making Betty Crocker Casserole Potatoes, I loved them as a child, now as an adult and I see my children enjoying them as much as I did as a child!
