I have been teaching my children character building skills ever since they were babies. Teaching them manners and how to treat others. Incorporating activities and reading books on character building. Stressing the importance daily how important these skills are. A new incredible tool that we are also using to teach character building is the Kindness Kingdom board game!
This game teaches and encourages empathy, develops social skills and nurtures a kindness of spirit that will help each player lead a more enjoyable and thoughtful life.
How to play:
Players are taught the importance of every day manners and the rules of etiquette as they travel through the eight neighborhoods in Kindness Kingdom. With every correct answer, they collect a charm for the bracelet they will take to the tea party. The last charm to collect is the key to the Golden Gate of the Golden Rule.
Players can learn tea party etiquette and how to handle life’s little faux pas. Many of the characters are named after the most beautiful flowers in the garden, players receive a fun introduction to flowers too. Princesses, fairies, flowers, tea parties, etiquette & marvelous manners – what little girl wouldn’t love this game?
My 4 year old daughter does not want to stop playing this game when we play. I am amazed how she knows some of the answers I do not know and I am almost 40 years old! This game is a fun way to teach children how to be respectful and courteous. What a great teaching tool!
Recommended for ages 5 and up (however my daughter is 4 and had full understanding of the game). The Kindness Kingdom board game can be purchased for $35.00 directly from The Kindness Kingdom web-site.
Follow Kindness Kingdom on Facebook to stay up to date on future products and promotions.
