I am always looking for fun ways for my kids to eat breakfast or lunch. Here is the old classic called an egg-in-a-hole with my twist for my kids.
Bread
Cookie Cutters
Egg
Butter (I use light butter)
My boys chose car cookie cutters, stamp out the center of the bread with the cookie cutter.
Butter both sides of the bread and the area that you cut out. Then place in a pan on the stove and cook on middle heat till toasted on one side.
After flipping the bread to the other side add your egg the the center of the bread – my kids like scrambled eggs so I poured it in the bread while cooking.
Although the egg in the toast didn’t show the outline of the car the kids still loved it and they got to eat the car shaped toast cut outs!
