This week’s theme is Dr. Seuss
So I decided to make my boys Cat & the Hat pancakes. I made the pancakes then with a cat cookie cutter, I cut out the cat’s (I didn’t have a hat cookie cutter so with a knife I carved out 2 hats), put them in the muffin baking cups. For extra fun I made them smiley face pancakes (chocolate chips for the eyes & little baking candies for the mouth, sprinkled baking candies on their plates for fun (this was a BIG treat for breakfast) The extra muffin baking cups had their syrup in it for the pancakes. My boys loved this!

I have a bunch of cookie cutters I just found up in the closet & will definitely be incorporating them in their food – they loved this! They kept asking for more! We are so loving this muffin tin idea!

What a sweet idea to use the cookie cutters on pancakes. We’ve used them for bread and sandwiches but never pancakes… yum! 🙂
