Jumping Bean is 31 months
We have been working on shapes for 3 weeks, I am glad this was the final week. Time to learn something new!
My boys & I Cariboo played together – I had it on the easiest setting for Jumping Bean which all about shapes & colors.

Using a back of a cearl box, I traced popsicle sticks into shapes & Jumping Bean matched the popsicle sticks to form the shape
With bingo dobbers he filled in the triangle
One of Jumping Beans favorite activity this week was his shapes scavenger hunt we did on our patio
I printed off a color solid set of shapes & then white shapes, glued the white shapes to cardboard, laminated the color set. Then on my patio I taped in various places the shapes for him to find & match to his scavenger shape sheet.
Then the boys played Perfection – all the different shapes was great for Jumping Bean
He loved how they popped out at him!

We didn’t do a whole lot this week, all 3 kids had colds.

What a great popsicle stick activity – very creative!! I saw a huge bag of “craft sticks” at our dollar store and thought, “I should pick them up for something…”. Maybe I will!
Sorry the kiddos were sick. I finally got around to getting some dobbers. Can’t wait to use them. Hope you are all better soon!!!

They must have changed Cariboo since I bought it for my older dd. I’m not able to change the level of ours. I might have to upgrade it.

What a great week! I love the scavenger hunt, that is really a great idea and looks like a lot of fun. Also, I absolutely love the popsicle stick activity… a while back I tried giving M some popsicle sticks to make shapes with and he just wasn’t into it. I will have to make the little templates for him like you did and see if it’s a bit more engaging. Thanks for so many good ideas!
