I walked my husband out early this morning as he left for work. As we drove away I looked up at the sky and saw the moon. From a distance it lite up the sky. Seems so close and yet so far away. So beautiful…..

I’ve always been intrigued by the moon. I wonder if it has something to do with my name. Diana = the Roman goddess of the moon and of hunting.

i ALWAYS love the shot of a full moon and my mind seems to wander. I love it when it’s so big when I see it from my backyard late at night and the yard is lit up and all the beautiful stars. You can’t see that in the city, but I can see it out here where I live. I live close to Fox River where houses aren’t on top of each other and you can actually breath fresh air not the exhaust from your neighbor’s car. Thanks for sharing. HUGS
I have seen nights that the moon was so bright that it lit up the sky almost as much as the sun does in the daytime. I love nights like that. There’s just something about that moonlight that makes it feel extra special.
The moon is so fascinating. These are wonderful photos. We often look up at the moon. My son even has a telescope to look at it.
Here the full moon came before the end of July making it appear twice in one month and therefore called a “Blue Moon.” We had a clear sky as well. The night was lite up like dawn. Beautiful!
