My 2 year old son has really taken a liking to Thomas the Train. He loves trains overall. So when I was given the opportunity for our family to go see Thomas the Train – Day Out With Thomas he was thrilled!
Thomas the Tank Engine is pulling into the station for a larger than life experience at Day Out With Thomas: The GO GO Thomas Tour 2013. Day Out with Thomas is a fun-filled and exciting way for children and adults to enter the world of Thomas & Friends. Day Out With Thomas provides an opportunity for kids to take a ride with Thomas and have their pictures taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of Thomas’ railway.
This kid oriented tour provides a unique, interactive and memorable family experience at every station. It offers a variety of entertaining activities that reflect the local flavor of each stop. Different forms of entertainment – from miniature golf, and bounce houses to face-painting, crafts, games, storytelling and video viewing area – make each Day Out With Thomas event special. Also kids can use use their creativity at the Thomas & Friends Imagination Station where you can Build with Mega Bloks and participate in other Thomas-themed activities including stamps (once all the stamps are collected the child can turn in their stamps and receive a gift!
There was so much to see and do for different age groups of children. My kids favorite was the 25 minute Thomas the Train ride. Our family had a great time, it was day we will not forget! It was well worth the hour and a half drive to get to it!
