My son is becoming quite a reader, I am always looking for new fun ways to teach him. A few weeks back my geocery store had their Cheez It cracker BOGO so I picked up the Scrabble Cheez Its.
I thought this would be a fun way for my preschooler to learn his new reading words. Today I decided to give it a try! He loved it! I pulled out all the ig words he learned then pulled out the id words he began learning today. We reviwed the ig words – I mixed up the ltetters on a paper towel & had him to spell big, dig, fig, wig, pig.
Then we began his new words: hid, did, kid, lid, bid, rid
Then when we were done JJ ate his words!

What a great idea! I love it! Publix?
yes Publix – we got 3 boxes – lots of reading & spelling to learn! 🙂
My Joe would LOVE this!!
I’ve never seen those…my son would love them. I’m still trying to find alphabet pasta somewhere so we can make our own alphabet fun!
This is a great idea. I wish I could find those here.
Love it, what a great idea… actually better than my plan which was the get the ABC crackers that are more like cookies… Cheezits would be healthier… Thanks for sharing..
I wish I could find alphabet cookies – I would use those too -not all the time just once in a blue moom. 🙂
I’ll have to keep my eye out for those, I haven’t see them yet.
Thanks for stopping by my blog:)
that is so cute. i am going to the store today so will be looking for these while I am there.
Love these =)! They just started carrying them at our store. I’d also like the cookies and pasta mentioned above.
