Homeschool Blog Hop!

Join in on the fun & join the fun! Our Worldwide Classroom has added a homeschool hop to her blog. We always post about our kids progress, crafts, etc. but we hardly know each other – so this is about us moms!

It’s time to share a little about yourself, oh please include a photo, we’d really love to see one if you can.
Here are the rules!

Theme 1 – You

All the pictures I have are with my kids! (Sorry)

My name is Nicole, I am 36 years old. I am an only child. I have never lived out of the same state I was born in. I love being a mom! My husband & I are having our 9 year wedding anniversary in a few weeks.
What I love:  Reading my Bible, spending time with the Lord, spending time with my kids, sewing, crafting, blogging, looking for freebies, playing good old fashion board games with my husband (especially Battleship), cloth diapering, looking into my baby girl’s beautiful big blue eyes, hearing my oldest tell me he loves me & that at the age of 4 he still calls me mama, hearing my 2 year old tell people his name is “Hulk” – not!, I love the little bit of alone time I get to spend with my husband & I am filled with anticipation with joy when it’s close for him to get home from work because I have missed him all day, I enjoy spending time with my friends, thrilled to finally have a baby girl – I am obessed with the girliness – bows, dresses – what a blessing! I would love to have 1 more child – God willing. I SO love nursing my baby & having that “special bonding experience”. I would love to learn to knit & play the piano. & Most of all I love hearing my kids laugh!
I have been homeschooling my oldest for 2 1/2 years, when I had my 1st son I never really knew anything about homeschooling & never entending on homeschooling but God blessed me with some great friends who taught me!
The hardest thing I ever endured was having a misscarriage between both my boys. I lost my baby at 11 weeks. Praise God for abundunt blessings because if I hadn’t lost that baby we wouldn’t have our 2 year old!
I posted so much about my kids – can’t help it!

  3. Love these getting to know the bloggers behind the blog better posts! Isn’t it amazing how God can change our minds about things! I was completely opposed to homeschooling when I was newly married. My son is only 2.5 so we aren’t really homeschooling yet. But my heart is mostly certainly changed for it!

  4. I think I might have learned something I didnt know! I am really liking this blog hop!

  12. My daughter corrects me and tells me her name is Batman….. So, I understand on the Hulk thing.
I think the main pictures I have of me that aren’t with my kids are taken by my kids….

  13. I love your list! It is hard to come up with a list that doesn’t include the kids–and hard to find a picture that doesn’t include them! I love playing all sorts of board games too, but I have to rely on my son (I’m so happy he’s old enough to play most games now) to play them with me because my husband isn’t really into games. And yes, children’s laughter is the best! Great post, thanks for sharing!

  14. Great “all about you” list. I am one of four kids, and I have lived in 3 states so far. My hubby is in sales so there may be more to come. After two boys, I definitely understand the obsession with all things pink and girly! Have fun!

  15. Love having a baby girl – I totally understand about the girlie stuff! Nice meeting you!

  16. Congratulations on the 9 years! That is awesome.
