Homeschooling is not an easy task. Math is one of the biggest struggles with my oldest son. Let’s face it there are certain things that people are not good at and his is math. So for us it means doubling up on math and incorporating games into his schooling.

I recently installed a math app on his tablet called Zap Zap Math. He is hooked! For someone that cannot stand to do math I have caught him quite a bit playing!  This fun app delivers a set of free, higher order thinking games that covers comprehensive math subjects from kindergarten all the way through 6th grade.

My son enjoyed playing Zap Zap Math so much that my eight year old son downloaded it to his tablet too! Games are fast paced, fun and interactive. Children will never get bored with the large selection of 23 games.  If 23 games are not enough new games added every two weeks for your child to explore and practice new math topics. These topics include: addition, subtraction, fraction, ratio, multiplication, geometry, expression, coordinates, measurements, angles, time and pre-school math.

The great thing is that parents and teachers are able to track child’s performance on the app dashboard so that they can focus on specific areas that children need to practice on.  Zap Zap Math is FREE for Android and IOS devices.

How are your kids at math? Try Zap Zap Math, it’s free, fun and fantastic to play!
