Pizza Fondue Recipe

My mother in law used to do fondue quite a bit when my husband and sister in law were kids. My husband loved it so much that we have passed this tradition down to our family. One of our favorites is pizza fondue. My kids love pizza and would eat it at every meal if I allowed them too so making pizza fondue is a fun way to change it up a bit!   There are many giggles around the table, memories that last forever.

  1. Pizza Sauce Dip
  2. 1 Jar of pasta sauce
  3. 2 Tsp Italian seasoning
  4. 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  5. 1 Cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  6. Ingredients To Dip In
  7. 1 Loaf of French or Italian bread diced into cubes
  8. Cooked mushrooms
  9. Meatballs
  10. Italian sausage
  11. Pepperoni
  12. Cooked pasta noodles (the larger the better)
  1. In a pot add the pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and cook on low until warm. Then add the mozzarella cheese into the sauce and cook on low until fully melted. Then add to the fondue pot with lit stern to continue to keep warm. Finally it's time to dip the ingredients into the sauce!

SAFETY TIP: If you are doing fondue with younger kids you can pour some of the sauce into a small bowl of their own and allow them to dip from there. We opted to do this with our littler ones so they did not get burned from the pot.

The great thing about pizza fondue is that you can dip all sorts of things in the sauce.  I personally like when everyone’s items fall off their forks and into the sauce which we leave to the end to eat! By then they are smothered in the pasta sauce!

What about you have you had fondue before, if so what kind? Stay tuned for my chocolate fondue recipe!
