Olympic Theme Butter Cookie Recipe

Yum

Our Classical Conversations homeschool group had a Fun Fall day with the theme of Ancient Greece. Yes that might sound like an odd theme BUT this year the kids are learning about Ancient Greece, with that being said the Olympics originated in Greece so we had different stations set up for the kids to do different sports: archery, soccer, discus, furthest jump, javelin and other fun activities.    After the kids played each sport we came back inside for some Olympic themed goodies. I made Olympic butter cookies. Olympics Yum

The kids loved these cookies! They were so easy to make too! Not doing an Olympic theme then try the same recipe different topping. The great thing is that it is so versatile! Other mom’s made fun recipes too such as popcorn torches, Olympic colored fruit tray and cookie medallions!

So maybe the sports were not exactly as the Olympians play but the kids got the idea and they had a great time!

Have you done any Olympic themed activities or treats?
