Leapfrog has been one of my favorite brands ever since my oldest son received a Leapfrog toy at Christmas.  Ever since then my children and I have been hooked! Most kids including mine would rather play with and educational toy than do book work so when my preschooler pulled the Word Whammer out of the box he did not want to put it down or share it with his siblings!

The Word Whammer toy has 3 action packed with word building skills that adjusts to different levels according to your child’s needs which I find great because my son can be challenged along the way.  Learning adapts as children play, helping them progress through 5 levels which keeps kids engaged.  I think my little guy likes it so much because it is easy to use with the colorful twist-able handles and easy buttons.

Product Features:

The thrust handle allows kids to blast in a rocket into letters to spell more than 100 plus words. They can match upper and lower case letters by spinning the handle to bump a car into the correct answer. Listen for a letter sound and then thrust the twist handle for a fast spin of the teacup into the letter that makes the correct sound.

leapfrog word whammer The great thing about this toy is that it teaches letter names, letter sounds and word building all while playing so children do not realize they are learning! This wonderful learning toy is designed for ages 4 and up but my 2 year old enjoys playing it also!

The Word Whammer is available at your local retailer or on-line at Leapfrog or Amazon for approximately $19.99.
