Summer has not officially begun yet and it’s another scorcher! Living in Florida is amazing but the summer’s get hot! My five kids are super active.  They love to be outside but with that they get hot quick and are constantly looking for a nice cold beverage to cool off with.

They get bored of water and honestly I do not blame them, I get bored of it too! With so many juices on the market that full of sugar I try to avoid giving it to them.  We do not allow our children to have any caffeine so most sodas are off limits. So what is left? BODYARMOR!

BODYARMOR is a delicious natural sports drink with potassium packed electrolytes, vitamins and coconut water. Unlike other sports drinks on the market it contains low sodium and no artificial sweeteners!  The perfect choice for young athletes especially, who don’t need all the unhealthy additives in their diet!  Plus my kids love all the flavors they come in too! With delicious flavors such as:  fruit punch, orange mango, strawberry banana, tropical punch, lemon lime, mixed berry and grape.

Many of the top professional athletes have chosen BODYARMOR to be their sports drink of their choice including Andrew Luck, Richard Sherman, Mike Trout, James Harden and Kobe Bryant. My little athletes love the taste and have told me that they like them much better than other sports drinks they have tried in the past!

  2. Debbie Denny says:

I will have to look for these. I just heard about them.

  3. I’ve never tried BodyArmor before. I’ll have to keep an eye open when I’m at the store.

  4. I have not heard of Body Armor sports drinks, but I will check them out. They look tasty! And more importantly, they quench your thirst!

  5. I have not heard of these before- I definitely need to find them, because they are right up my alley!

  6. Glad to see it’s at Target! Our favorite! I love the variety of flavors.

  7. I’ve never tried these drinks before. I’ll have to check for them the next time we go shopping. I know my children would enjoy them!

  8. Nice alternative to the products they have out there. No artificial sweeteners and low sodium is important for kids in my view.

  9. I’ve heard quite a bit about these! I’ve not seen them around here, but I think I’d love to give them a try. Would he great for my oldest after soccer too!

  10. Can’t wait to try this! Perfect for these hot summer days

  11. I haven’t seen these at our retailers, but both our girls love trying new sports drinks. Especially on days like today (90 degrees +) when they have track practice.

  12. Tonya C says:

I’ll have to try these. Love that they have it available in a 6-pack that is easy to transport to the game fields.

  13. I have not tried this yet!! Sounds like a great sports drink to grab for the summer!

  14. This sounds like a much healthier and better option than a lot of other sports drinks out there. I will be on the lookout for it next time I am grocery shopping.

  15. Its so hot here in Jamaica! It’s like Summer all year round! My pick would be the mixed Berry.. it sounds and looks refreshing 🙂

  16. I’ve never actually heard of this brand before but I love that it’s made with coconut water. Sounds like great flavors too!

  17. These definitely sound like they would stop me from dehydrating so quickly (which unfortunately I do). I will stop in a store and pick some up to see how I like the taste.

  18. My husband drinks sports beverages! I will tell him about this one! I think the berry one is for me, tho!

  19. I really appreciate the variety of flavors it comes in. I’d like to give this a try!

  20. This is my first time hearing of this brand.
LOL – I was born and raised in Florida. I lived there for 51 years. When we moved to Louisiana, I thought that it would be a bit cooler. Boy was I ever WRONG!

  21. Sports drinks like these are so important when out on the road with our son’s traveling team. They help to keep all the kids on the team hydrated.

  22. I’ve been hearing about these lately and will look for them in Target. I like giving my kids sports drinks after practice and games.

  23. I have heard a lot about this product lately. Honestly, I would not give this to my kids. While they tout that they are good for kids, the nutrition is actually geared for adults (it is based on a 2,000 calorie ADULT diet). This value is way too high for kids. Looking at the label, they also do not provide the amount (mg or IU)of their vitamin and minerals just the percentage of DV for adults.

  24. This sounds perfect for our family. Between soccer and swimming we are always on the go and need hydration. Thanks for the info. Will have to keep my eyes opened for them.

  25. This would be perfect for my daughter. She has soccer practices and it will help her get the energy she needs.

  26. Ooooh, the Orange Mango sounds REALLY good (I’m a sucker for anything with mango in it). I’ve been meaning to try keep a few new drinks in our fridge. Might have to give these a try soon!

  27. We haven’t tried these before, but I will have to keep an eye out for them at Target. Especially after a long ride or a run, these would be handy. Love that they don’t contain all the extra stuff.

  28. I just got the chance to try this recently and loved it! Perfect summer time drink!

  29. I have never heard of this brand and after checking out your locations list – it has not hit the midwest yet! I will have to look for it when we are in FL in Sept

  30. I have seen a few comments recently about these drinks and now am craving a Strawberry Banana. Sports drinks have come a long way – thanks for the tip!

  31. I have never heard of this drink brand before. I will need to give them a try. Thanks for the coupon.

  32. That’s neat that it’s coconut water based… but I wonder about the other ingredients. I’m not a fan of synthetic vitamins…only whole-food ones, and that’s hard to find in “products.”

  33. I am going to swap these drinks for the others my kids drink. They look so good thanks for sharing

  34. Those energy drinks look great. My son would love to try them during his swimming competitions and swim meets

  35. These flavors sound like smoothies. They have to be better than giving kids juice boxes! I’ve seen too many parents doing that after sports or hard playing.

  36. Love all the flavors. I will have to try this. thanks for the share.

  37. I have not heard of this one, but it looks good! Is it gluten-free, do you know?

  38. Ann Bacciaglia says:

I have not heard of Bodyarmor before. I will have to pick some up to try. I get bored of water and so do my kids.

  39. Bodyarmor sounds like a fantastic drink for my kids. It is soccer season in our house and the kids always complain about drinking water. I will have to watch for this in the store.

  40. I love that these are natural. I have heard good things about this brand too, they are starting to pop up all over!

  41. I had not heard of this band before. It sounds like a great sports drink. I like that it comes in so many different flavors.

  42. With so many kids enjoying sports and other activities, they need a good way to hydrate. This seems like a great beverage for them.

  43. Okay, so not only are these a rad drink, but how awesome are you for putting down where we can purchase them?! I’ll be picking up some tomorrow! Thanks for the info!

  44. Julie Wood says:

The Orange Mango and the Mixed berry are two flavors that we would love to try. This drink looks delicious and would be great to try during the hot summer months.

  45. I keep hearing about this. It is definitely on my try list.

  46. Good to see some more options besides just Gator/power/ade. The fact that his has vitamins besides the electrolytes and natural sweeters is even better.
