Sunny Side Up With Mickey Mouse

Yum
My son loves sunny side up eggs so I have been trying to make them different ways to eat them.  Between or DisneySide party and our up and coming Disney Tween Fam Blog Event we are crafting Mickey Mouse. So when he asked for an sunny side up egg one morning, I decided to make it Mickey Mouse style!

Ingredients
  1. 1 Egg
  2. Coconut Oil
  3. 1 Slice of Bread
  4. 1 Mickey Mouse Cookie Cutter
Instructions
  1. Place a slice of bread on a flat surface and press a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter down in the center of the bread.
  2. Next melt coconut oil in a frying pan and then place the Mickey Mouse cut out bread in the hot pan.
  3. Then crack open an egg in the Mickey Mouse opening. Cook until the under side of the egg firms up and gently flip the bread over without breaking the yolk.
  4. Finally cook for a few moments on the other side. Depending how you like your egg cooked will depend how long you will cook. My son likes the inside of the egg runny so I only cooked it for a few moments.
  5. Gently remove the egg/toast from the pan and serve.
Notes
  1. You can use the Mickey Mouse cut out by adding a favorite spread on top like jelly or jam. My son likes to dip his cut out in the runny yolk.

mickey mouse egg 1

I have heard of a cut out in bread with egg cooked in it called an egg in a hole. Adding fun shapes especially Mickey Mouse makes it all the more fun for kids to eat their meal! Needless to say this was a hit and I have made it a few times since making it the 1st time.    Yum

What fun egg in a hole cut outs have you made lately?
