Last week my family gathered around to watch Peter Pan Live! on NBC.  This musical masterpiece that tells the beloved story of Peter Pan, the mischievous little boy who ran away to Neverland. Get ready for show-stopping stars, stunning costumes, extravagant sets and delightful music that will have everyone in your home singing along.

Prior to the movie we had a Peter Pan theme dinner and dessert,

Simply cook the hot dogs add to the bun. I printed cross bones and skull that I found on Yahoo images, I cut them out and glued them to 3  X 3 paper hole punched 2 holes one at the top and bottom and then threaded them through long craft sticks and poked it in the hot dog.

After dinner we had Tinker Bell Wands

Then it was time for the show to begin!  My kids like the classic Peter Pan animated movie so I was interested to see how they would like a musical.  I normally do not allow my children to stay up so late but since we homeschool our schedule is flexible so I let them stay up to watch the whole movie. They did not want to go to bed, they loved the story and the music accompanying.  With a star studded cast; Christopher Walken who plays Captain Hook and  Allison Williams as Peter Pan as well as Christian Borle and Kelli O’Hara this definitely was the musical event of the year!
