I love reading to my kids even my older kids. Even more so around holidays I pull the holiday related books off our bookshelf to read to them too. This year we have a new book to add to our Christmas collection and that is Tales of Little Overhill: Belfry’s Christmas Gift .

theo belfry

Tales of Overhill Belfry’s Christmas Gift is a heartwarming Christmas story from Theo’s Tales of Little Overhill, Belfry must think of something to give Theo at the Christmas party. He soon discovers that the best gifts are not those wrapped in ribbons and bows. Belfry’s gift is one that changes the life of a gruff and lonely clockmaker, someone shunned by all of the village animals. It is the gift of love!

This book teaches valuable lessons and a perfect resource for teaching children character building. When the animals are scared of Seamus the badger because of his appearance they exclude him but not Belfry who reached out to Seamus even when Seamus is not very respondent.  Belfry goes above and beyond showing his love for Seamus by his kind words and actions. When Belfry does not have a gift to bring to Theo’s party Seamus secretly has one of his handmade clocks delivered tot he party and puts from Belfry on the gift. It is a great lesson about love no matter how hard the circumstances get! Referencing back to Isaiah 9:6.

This sweet book can be purchased for $12.99 directly from the Theo Store.  Tales of Overhill Belfry’s Christmas Gift makes a perfect gift for any boy or girl this Christmas season.
