I remember being a child and birthday’s were fun. I couldn’t wait for the big day and let’s face it the presents. Now as an adult I hate birthday’s. OK maybe not hate but I dislike them except all the homemade cards my children make me and all the pampering these little ones do. Mom can I put lotion on your feet or mom can I scratch your back. I admit I do like those things but another year older no. Today I am 41 years old. HEAVY SIGH. It is my birthday. I will spend the day with my children homeschooling and enjoying the day together, football practice and then out to dinner. With everyday so busy I was delighted when my mom called me last week and invited my family out to dinner Saturday at my favorite restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale – Sea Watch. My parents live an hour south of me so it was nice to get together for my birthday. It was a nice relaxing dinner.
What makes this place so special? My husband and I used to go there for date nights before children. The views are stunning – it’s on the beach! The menu is amazing. They say pictures speak louder than words so here you go.
My son and I got lobster. It was my 9 year old’s son 1st time eating lobster, his facial expressions were priceless as he had to do all the work getting to the meat inside the shell. It definitely was a treat we reminded him! If you are ever in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida you have to add Sea Watch to your bucket list.
