Teacher Thank You Gift (Cup Of Art) Learn + Link With Linky

Even though we homeschool my children still have teachers that they are with weekly. Every Wednesday morning while I go to my Bible study class all 5 of my kids go to their classes, they are with other homeschool children with volunteer teachers that they do a Bible lesson with, crafts, sing, etc. They have these teachers for 9 months. Our study has ended till the Fall but next year they are moved up a class and will get different teachers so we wanted to give them a little something as a thank you.

Frugal Gift Idea

With a total of 8 teachers (some of my kids have 2 teachers per class) gifts get pricey. So we made them personalized mugs. Shhhhhhhhh, they only cost a $1.00 each! The Dollar Tree has these mugs – design your own travel mugs (11 oz.).  These mugs pull apart and come with a coloring page inside that kids can color but I flipped it over and my kids made their teachers their own personalized artwork that the artwork can be viewed from the outside. My older ones wrote personalized notes and drew them their own pictures while with my 3 year old and baby I traced their hands and wrote a thank you message for their teachers.

For Mother’s Day I am having pictures of my kids printed off and I will make one for their grandma too! My kids enjoyed personalizing these or their teachers and once all of their teachers unwrapped them Wednesday they were thrilled!
