Winter Theme Play Table (Learn & Link With Linky)

We have had this water play table outside on our patio for over a year and my kids have hardly played with it so I pressure washed it and cleaned it as best as I could and decided to bring it inside for my younger children and do a sensory theme each month.

For January the theme is winter.

What’s inside our winter sensory table?

3 bags of cotton balls from the Dollar Tree

Snowflake, Snowmen and Penguin foamies

Blue and Silver Pom Poms

Winter theme Pez dispensers

Bowls, winter decorated containers, tongs, cups

Animals that live in the cold weather

Actually my 4 year old daughter and I put this whole table together for my 3 year old son. We hid several of the items under the “snow” cotton balls and he had to find them.  He enjoyed the different textures as well as transferring the items into the bowl, at times separating the snowflakes, etc.

Great for dexterity, textures, follow directions, thinking skills, patience, sorting and more!

Stay tuned for our Valentine’s Play Table coming soon!
