Super Duper Publications makes hundreds of creative, colorful educational and therapy materials that you and your children will love. For children who may need a little support when it comes to social skills, reading, math, spelling and critical thinking, a few lessons via a game can have a huge impact.

I admit it my kids have a hard time following directions. It is a constant battle. When my husband and I given them instructions we often have them repeat them back to us because sometimes things we say go in one ear and out the other. I was sent Pirate Talk to review which reinforces following directions! Ah, finally someone understands and turned it into a game!

This game indicates it’s for grades kindergarten through 5th grade however, my two year played it! My husband and I love the fact that the game cards have multiple questions that you can ask the child after reading the description of the card. Where they listening or not? Then to be rewarded with pirate treasure coins gives the child an incentive to answer correctly! . The only small negative we found was that the instructions seemed a bit vague, we couldn’t tell if all the questions were to be read on each turn or if they were age dependent. The good thing was that is that Pirate Talk has variations – suggestions for different types of game play for different circumstances. Example: a quick game, hand and eye coordination and so on.  Pirate Talk is a clever game, teaching concepts for kids to learn while having fun playing!

Pirate Talk can be purchased directly from Super Publications for $54.95.

Super Publications is generously offering one of my readers Pirate Talk board game of their own! Free Shipping for any orders $20.00 and over in the United Sates and Canada!
